As a student of information technology I am aware of this as I get to see the situations practised by my classmates in real life. Our Awesome Motorhome Vacation to California posted on 16 May 2012 in Holiday and Travel What were me and my husband thinking when we decided to rent a motorhome with 4 kids to travel from Texas to California? I am not sure either. No, it wasn't that bad. We rented an RV to travel to California to see my brother-in-law and his family. We decided to rent an RV so we would be more comfortable and not so cramped tight into our minivan. We made sure we had all the gaming stuff, including Nintendo DS, iPod, iPads and of course the portable DVD player. We had planned this trip for months, and to make it a little more comfy on the kids, we left at night so they could sleep at least 8 hours of the way. We were half way across Texas by the time they woke up. (Which if you have never driven from one side of Texas to the other, it's the longest ride you will ever ride) Luckily, my husband was driving, and I was just along for the ride, but obligated to keep him awake so we sat up and talked all night. It was very nice having alone time, and watching our kids sleeping in the back. We arrived, after making several stops and had a wonderful time coming back as well. It is a solar laptop, I have never seen anything like this. I asked the sales representative if I could take a good look at it and she even gave me the chance to boot this system and I saw the different functions of this laptop. I was captivated and I am sure going to have this laptop even if it takes my whole month salary. I can still picture the look on the representative's face when I asked how do I fix my laptop charger? , I didn't even pay for it yet and I was calling it mine. She ignored the fact that I claimed ownership and merely told me it was a solar system and that it needed no charger. I am working so hard now because I just need to step up my game and buy that laptop, there is just nothing like it.

Turning Our House into Our Home Slowly but Surely posted on 12 March 2012 in Home and Garden My husband and I purchased our house one year ago, as with three kids we needed to get out or our 1300 sq foot townhouse and into a house that we can stay in for years to come. We found a beautiful 2200 square foot home just minutes from our daughters' school and fell in love with it. Now living in it we start to see that the home needs some touches to be complete, from some legge locks for extra security to new paint work. First off, the living room has no lighting. We have a floor lamp in the room but it doesn't provide nearly enough light. We would like to put about 6 pot lights in the ceiling so that it can become a room where we can read to the kids and spend family time. Next is the kitchen, it has a breakfast bar above where the kitchen sink is, but me just barely hitting 5 feet tall, I can't see over it. We would like to cut it down to regular counter height. The counter tops as well right now are a mauve swirl design which I would like to change into granite counter tops. With granite you don't have to worry about putting a hot plate down or need for a cutting board, and its a really strong material with 3 kids in the house. Adding a back-splash in the kitchen is also a dream and goal that we have. One other issue is the dark hardwood on the floors. As the house is 9 years old now, the hardwood as lost its sheen. After I wash the floors, they still look dull, and as soon as someone steps on the floor the footprint stays. I would like to have the hardwood floors sanded and re-varnished so that they don't look so old. Lastly, is just paint. Having 3 kids in the house, plus 4 others for home daycare we've got a lot of nicks and nails popping that are quite noticeable. Especially in the kids bedrooms as the previous owners were not gentle or careful at all while moving out. A fresh coat of paint in the bedrooms and hallway would do wonders. Unfortunately this all takes money, which is always in short supply. We try to keep our kids as healthy and active as possible, so sacrifices need to be made. Eventually we'll get to these jobs over the years.

It is a phenomenal company which has transformed and dominated its field. An amazing feat for any company, and they have shaped the way marketing is done online - SEO (search engine optimization) is a reaction to their link building algorithms after all. However, I am becoming less and less inclined to use Google now though. One day, I suddenly thought that I had not used another search engine for years, so I decided to give a different one a try. I was quite amazed at the different results you could get on something other than Google, often much better results. At this point I couldn't imagine abandoning Google but I learned more about DuckDuckGo and how it worked and I realised that it is actually more powerful than Google. After some practice with it, I can now say that I am a full time user and have completely deserted Google's search engine. I never thought that day would come but it has and I couldn't be happier with my choice.
